Keep Your Team Up to Date! Tips for Sharing and Accessing the Newsletter

March 1, 2023

Our biweekly newsletter is intended to reach past and present community partners who have led or are currently leading public health communications in partnership with the Washington State Department of Health (DOH). Through the newsletter, we share program efforts, COVID-19 updates, funding opportunities, public health resources and upcoming events.

To ensure your team is getting relevant, timely information and resources, we encourage partners to share this resource with your team and troubleshoot any access issues.

Accessing the Newsletter

  • Subscribe to the newsletter on the Community Partner Page — visit the Community Partner Page. At the bottom of any page, subscribe to the newsletter by entering your information and selecting “subscribe.” You will receive a confirmation email in your inbox (be sure to check your junk/spam folder). Follow the instructions on the confirmation email to finalize your subscription.
  • Subscribe to the newsletter by contacting DH — Email partnerinfo@wearedh.com with the name and email address of any team member(s) you would like to receive the newsletter. We’re happy to add them to the distribution list.
  • Forward the newsletter to your team — If a member of your team is subscribed to the newsletter, they can forward the newsletter to the rest of the team.
  • Access the newsletter archive — If your team would like to access the newsletter without subscribing, visit this link to view all recent newsletters. This link is also available in our Program Asset Library under “DOH CDO Community Partner Newsletter Archive.”

Common Access Issues

  • Confirmation email — When you subscribe to the newsletter on the Community Partner Page, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. Be sure to look for this email in your email inbox and junk/spam folder. Follow the instructions to confirm your subscription. If you do not confirm your subscription, you will not receive the newsletter.
  • Junk/Spam folder — Once subscribed, some email platforms may still send newsletter emails to your junk/spam folder. If this happens, locate the email in your junk/spam folder and adjust your inbox settings to direct these messages to your inbox.
  • Add DH to your contacts — To avoid issues with the newsletter being blocked or sent to your junk/spam folder, consider adding partnerinfo@wearedh.com to your email contacts under “DOH Partner Info.”

If you would like support accessing the newsletter, please reach out to partnerinfo@wearedh.com. We’re happy to help!
