The Washington State Department of Health’s (DOH) free at-home testing program, Say Yes! COVID Test (SYCT), will end on May 11, along with the federal public health emergency for COVID-19.
Washingtonians can still order free test kits from the SYCT website, but beginning March 13, eligibility requirements will prioritize communities most in need based on public health measures identifying disadvantaged households. Federally funded at-home tests are still available and can be accessed here.
Since January 2022, DOH has distributed over 15 million free at-home COVID-19 testing kits through the SYCT program and will continue to collaborate with local organizations to make sure all Washingtonians can access testing resources and services.
