Join Washington Autism Alliance as we promote acceptance, inclusion, and raise funds to support improved insurance access and effective services in schools and communities for those with autism and developmental disabilities across Washington State.

WAA programs are a lifeline, so much more than an inadequate solution to the issues that families run into daily. Our programs and services prepare children and families for their life ahead, a life that will empower children and benefit our community as a whole.

When you donate to Washington Autism Alliance, you’re helping:

• Strengthen families and increase access to both education and healthcare.
• Stabilize crisis situations resulting from direct service agencies & schools closing.
• Create a statewide resource guide for Telehealth services.
• Guide school districts on providing safe in-person services on a case by case basis.
• Draft guidelines for special education services during the pandemic.
• Support communication to families about self-advocacy tools during COVID-19.
• File citizen’s complaints statewide for students who are unable to access digital learning.

EVENT DETAILS

When: Saturday, June 4, 2022, 10am -2pm (Registration opens at 9:30am).

Where: Juanita High School Athletic Field, 10601 NE 132nd St., Kirkland.

Who: Individuals with ASD of all ages and their families.

What to wear: Superheroes and any other costumes are welcomed. Spring weather can be unpredictable; please bring outerwear for inclement weather.

FUN FAIR ACTIVITIES

• Individual/Family Resource Fair
• Entertainment
• Sensory sensitive Fun Activities for people of all ages on the spectrum
• 3k Leisurely Walk (optional) – sponsor provided snacks and refreshment stations during walk.
• Food trucks on premises for breakfast/lunch and beverages purchases.
