Testing plays an important role in reducing the spread of COVID-19 in our communities. In addition to a variety of testing sites located throughout the state, free at-home test kits are available through the Federal USPS Testing Portal or the DOH Say Yes! COVID Test Portal while supplies last. Recently, free test kit resources have expanded accessibility in more languages and reduced barriers for those who are blind or low vision.

Free At-home COVID-19 Tests for People Who Are Blind or Low Vision

The Biden-Harris Administration recently expanded the availability and accessibility of testing options for people who are blind or low vision. Free at-home test kits that use a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone or tablet app to provide audible instructions and test results can be ordered online or by calling 1-800-232-0233 while supplies last. Each order contains two rapid antigen tests. Learn more about this resource on the Administration for Community Living webpage.
