The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) announced a remarkable public health milestone; as of November 6, 2021, over 10 million COVID-19 doses have been administered across the state since vaccine distribution began in December 2020.
The pandemic is ongoing, and we have more work to do to distribute accurate COVID-19 information and combat vaccine hesitancy in Washington, but we also want to take a moment to celebrate this victory. We are so grateful for the tireless efforts of countless healthcare professionals, public health advocates, community-based organizations and private media vendors like you who have helped Washington residents reach this milestone. The work you do matters. Thank you.
