The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) has relaunched its free statewide telehealth program to increase access to COVID-19 treatments and medication.
The program is an expansion of the federal Test to Treat initiative, giving those at risk of severe disease another way to access treatment. The telehealth program allows patients to connect with clinicians without going to health care facilities in person, which lowers access barriers for those living in rural and underserved urban areas.
People who test positive for COVID-19 are eligible to receive a free prescription for oral antivirals as appropriate from pharmacies across the state. Schedule an appointment on DOH’s telehealth website or call 1-800-525-0127.
