West African Back to School and Grandma Appreciation Day

The Washington West African Center is inviting you to our 6th annual back to school and grandma appreciation day scheduled to take place on Saturday,  September 3rd 2022 from 12pm to 6pm at Willis Tucker Community Park (6705 Puget Park Dr, Snohomish, WA 98296).

For 6 years in a row, WAWAC has been organizing this annual Back to sSchool Get together and picnic for the West African Community in Washington during which we supported families with back packs, school supplies, laptops/tablets, free toys,  gifts and other swags and giveaways as well as the enabling environment for our kids to get to know each other and learn about the positive cultures and the history of their parents birth countries.

It’s also a moment that we celebrate our grandmas and thank them for supporting us to raise our kids according to our tradition and culture. We issue them certificates and provide them with gifts and other entertainment.

To help us plan the event and serve you and your family better, kindly fill out the following form(s).
