In seasons of grief and loss, the stress of funeral costs can be incredibly overwhelming. The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) recently shared a funeral assistance resource that is available through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 and American Rescue Act of 2021, FEMA is able to provide funeral assistance for COVID-19 related funeral expenses.
