The Department of Health (DOH) Collaborative was launched in February 2021 with a goal to prioritize and address the needs of communities most affected by COVID-19. Over the past year and a half, the Collaborative has fostered partnerships among community-based organizations, small businesses, cross-sector partners, health care providers, and public health agencies. The Collaborative brings an equity and social justice focus to DOH’s planning and decision-making about its COVID-19 response and vaccine outreach.
Now, the Collaborative is expanding beyond COVID-19. While the group will still cover COVID-19 topics, the group is also making room to address other health concerns and inequities. As their focus widens, the Collaborative is requesting feedback about the needs and recommendations of community-based organizations serving communities disproportionately affected by health inequities.
Using the link below, please take five minutes to share your feedback about how you would like the Collaborative to grow! Your input is very valuable in setting new priorities and continuing to improve the Collaborative. Please complete the survey by August 19, 2022.
If you need the survey in an alternative format and/or additional language, please contact DH. We can put you in touch with a Collaborative member who can get you the survey in a plain text form or Word document or conduct the survey by phone.
The Collaborative will be on recess through the month of August but will reconvene in September. Meetings are open and interested individuals are welcome to join on an ongoing basis.
