The Department of Health (DOH) recently launched a Spanish-only Facebook page, El Departamento de Salud del Estado de Washington. This page is written and maintained by Latinx members of the social and equity teams at DOH. Along with the creation of this page, DOH has built a strong team of translators and has established a Spanish Social Task Force made up of DOH equity and partner representatives. The goal of these efforts is for the Latinx community to receive important health-related information at the same time as English-speaking community members.
