The Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) COVID-19 vaccine is no longer available for use in the U.S. according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The remaining government stock expired on May 7, 2023, and providers were advised to dispose of any remaining doses.
The CDC limited the emergency use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine prior to revoking its authorization due to a link to a rare blood clotting condition.
