The COVID-19 pandemic has progressed, and as state and local guidance has evolved, partners in this program have given feedback that many members of their communities are interpreting relaxed mandates as signals that the pandemic is “over.” Partners have expressed concern that a return to routine without continued messaging about safety measures will result in people getting and spreading COVID-19 unnecessarily, especially considering the highly contagious omicron subvariants. With this feedback in mind, DH created a “Coexisting with COVID-19” brochure to provide to partners to distribute in their communities.
The Co-existing with COVID-19 brochure covers guidance around vaccine eligibility and effectiveness, action steps for a COVID-19 exposure or positive test and available treatment options. The brochure also revisits the basics of wearing a mask, testing for COVID-19 and prioritizing your mental health. The information featured within the brochure summarizes current COVID-19 guidance based on information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Washington State Department of Health (DOH).
This brochure is available in Dropbox and a digital version is available upon request. Find additional messaging and assets related to Current Guidelines or Exposure, Symptoms, Quarantine in Dropbox, among other COVID-19 topics.
