Two new funding opportunities are available to community-based organizations to aid in increasing visibility for underrepresented communities.
The Seattle Times has recently launched their Community Connection Grant, which seeks to empower the growth of underrepresented businesses through marketing collaboration and advertising. Organizations may receive up to $300,000 in marketing and advertising services. Applications for the 2024 program are due by December 31, 2023, and can be found here.
The second opportunity is from Quinn Thomas, a marketing and communications agency based in Oregon. Quinn Thomas is offering pro bono public relations support to one nonprofit organization over the course of six months from February through July. Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status supporting historically marginalized communities are welcome to apply. Applications are due by January 10, 2024. More details can be found here.
