COVID-19 Community Driven Outreach (CDO) Initiative
CDO Initiative Overview
DOH launched the CDO Initiative in November 2022. This program aims to improve COVID-19 information and vaccine access, develop meaningful, culturally relevant and linguistically appropriate public health communications and invest in and growing existing communications infrastructure in Washington state. Through the CDO Initiative, DOH is partnering with a variety of community-based organizations and community media outlets to increase the reach and impact of public health messaging.
