Updated DOH Vaccine Education Materials Provide Helpful Guidance Around Vaccine Options

The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) offers a variety of vaccine reference documents to help differentiate between current COVID-19 vaccines and provide guidance for individuals pursuing vaccination. DOH has updated a variety of these reference documents considering the recent authorization of the bivalent booster vaccine. Access these documents below.  

Side-by-Side Snapshot of COVID-19 Vaccines 

This document provides an overview of all the currently authorized COVID-19 vaccine brands in a side-by-side format that allows easy comparison. Information about the new bivalent booster and eligibility was recently included, and the document is in the process of being translated into 37 additional languages. COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Doses Reference Guide for All Ages 

General booster dose information, answers to frequently asked questions, booster eligibility by age group and updated information on the new bivalent booster can be found in this reference guide. Those who are immunocompromised face greater risk of severe illness from a COVID-19 infection. For answers to frequently asked questions and guidance around additional vaccine doses and booster doses for those who are immunocompromised, consult DOH’s reference guide.
