During this holiday season filled with traveling and social gatherings, it’s important to protect yourself and your loved ones from COVID-19. Getting vaccinated is an essential part of that. However, even after getting the latest COVID-19 vaccine, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends maintaining certain precautions.
One such precaution is to wear a well-fitted mask indoors in public, especially if you’re in an area with a high number of people hospitalized with COVID-19. The CDC also recommends wearing a mask while accessing public transportation such as planes, buses and trains, or while at airports or bus and train stations.
For those who have never been vaccinated, it’s not too late to get your shot! The CDC recommends anyone 5 years or older get one dose of the latest annual vaccine to protect against serious illness from COVID-19.
