With the holidays around the corner, it’s important to take proper safety measures to keep your loved ones safe from COVID-19. Here are some tips for lowering the risk of getting or spreading COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses:
- Wash your hands often
- Stay up to date with your vaccinations: COVID-19, flu, RSV (for people 60 years and older)
- Take a COVID-19 test prior to a gathering
While it’s not required, wearing a mask reduces the spread of COVID-19 and is recommended for those with COVID-19 symptoms or a positive test. Anyone who has been in close contact with someone who is positive for COVID-19 should also wear a mask for 10 days, especially around others.
