Starting in the fall of 2023, COVID-19 vaccines will transition to the commercial marketplace, meaning uninsured adults will lose access to affordable COVID-19 vaccines.
In response, the Department of Health and Human Services announced the Bridge Access Program for COVID-19 vaccines and treatments. This program is a public/private partnership to temporarily help under- and uninsured adults retain access to no-cost COVID-19 vaccines and treatments after commercialization.
The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) will receive COVID-19 vaccines via the Bridge Program to distribute to partners across the state.
To request COVID-19 vaccines for uninsured or underinsured adults, enroll in the Adult Vaccine Program.
