With COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths trending downward nationwide, the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) will end the current order requiring masks to be worn in all healthcare, long-term care and adult correctional facilities.
Since the end of 2022, COVID-19, RSV and influenza cases have continued to decline in Washington.
Masks are still recommended for patients, healthcare providers and visitors in healthcare settings, and employees in these settings may choose to use masks. Local or tribal governments, facilities, and providers may continue to require masks.
