Greetings, partners! Join us on September 15 for our next Community Conversation focused on organizational capacity building.
During this Community Conversation, we invite you to share how your organization has addressed capacity and infrastructure building, both before and during the pandemic. We hope the conversation will help create a better understanding of the support that community-based organizations and community media outlets need to be well-equipped to address social determinants of health in their communities and/or to respond to future emergencies. Please consider reflecting on the below discussion questions ahead of our conversation:
- What have you implemented for capacity building and how is it going?
- What current needs does your organization have that have been missing from your capacity building process?
- Looking back on your work around COVID-19, how can some of the systems put in place help you address other social determinants of health in your community?
During the conversation we will be joined once again by members of the DOH Community Relations and Equity (CR&E) team. After the discussion, DH and DOH will provide a recap of resources and opportunities. By the end of this Community Conversation, we hope that partners are encouraged to continue exploring and discussing organizational sustainability.
