COVID-19 Community Media Outreach (CMO) Program

The Community Media Outreach Program reached communities across Washington who have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. In partnership with Desautel Hege (DH), the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) engaged over 200 community-based organizations and community media outlets to increase access to COVID-19 resources and vaccines in their community. With the launch of DOH’s CDO program in November 2022, the CMO Program concluded in January 2023.

DH and DOH celebrate the incredible work of community partners throughout the lifetime of the CMO program. For insight into the impact of the CMO program, explore the report linked below.
