Washington Childhood Vaccine Program Lowers Financial Barriers for Immunizations

July 6, 2023

The Washington State Childhood Vaccine Program (CVP) gives recommended vaccinations for those under the age of 19 to medical providers at no cost, reducing their patients’ financial barriers to immunizations.

COVID-19 vaccines are expected to be added to CVP beginning in Fall 2023, once the commercialization of the vaccine begins. At that time, medical providers who opt in to CVP will receive COVID-19 vaccines at no cost to them or their patients.

Interested providers can see if they meet enrollment and ongoing program requirements by contacting WAChildhoodVaccines@doh.wa.gov.

For more information, the Washington State Department of Health has put together a flyer and a provider enrollment checklist
